In the wake of the SBV collapse and evolving market dynamics, we identified a critical gap in the private credit sector for asset-light businesses. Traditional equity investment platforms, while beneficial, were not adequately addressing the unique needs of these modern business models. First Market was launched to revolutionize this space, drawing from a structure previously exclusive to billion-dollar enterprises and adapting it for small and medium-sized companies. Our inception was driven by a desire to democratize access to debt funding, acknowledging that innovative, asset-light companies with robust cash flows were undeservedly sidelined by conventional lenders. By offering a solution that combines the security of asset-backed securities with the flexibility of modern technology, we aim to level the playing field, enabling these dynamic businesses to prosper.
